Resembling something like a farmyard barn the Akasaka Blitz is a first rate venue for top international bands. Top Japanese bands and most of the most respected Indie bands play here to a 1900 strong audience. While tickets are usually sold far in advance you might be able to secure some through your hotel concierge.

Cote de Rouge

Offering over 50 varieties of wine all available by the glass, Cote de Rouge is a great place to sample different wines from around the world. Should you opt to enjoy an entire bottle it will be retrieved from a cellar stocking 10,000 bottles. Cote de Rouge also boasts the prized Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.

Le Dragon Bleu

With antique furniture, moody lighting and a high-class chic clientele, Le Dragon Bleu gets very busy during peak commuting hours as it fills with businesspeople opting to stop in for a drink on the way home. The bar stays open until dawn which makes it one of the only really late night spots in Akasaka.

Very popular in Osaka this is Sam & Dave’s first branch in Tokyo. The daily Happy Hour attracts a large foreign contingent as well as many commuters on their way home after a long day’s work.
